Sciernau & Co. New York

Unusual Lamp Burner. Probably Alcohol fuel was used.
The bottom of the burner is solid. The wood knob closes two doors that probably extinguishes
and regulates the flame.
A black metal cap at the center of the burner is removed to fill the resevoir with fuel.
The burner bottom has no threads and is approximately 2" in diameter.

Vintage Solid Brass Duplex Burner Made in England.

Probably made by Scott or Sherwood.

Excellent condition with original Vintage 4" Shade Holder.

The snuffer works properly as does each wick raiser.

The thread outside diameter is approximately 1 1/2"

The butterfly knob raises the gallery approximately 1".
The burner is solid brass.
The wick raiser knob works very smoothly.
The flame spreader is in great shape.
The thread diameter is approximately 1 13/16"
