ELECTRIC LAMP PARTS : Standard (Size) Lamp Sockets

Electrolier sockets were introduced in the early 1950's and are found on most modern table and floor lamps today.

Fat Boy (or standard style sockets), were prevelant around the turn of the 20th century.
These are larger in diameter than the more modern electrolier socket.
